Can you please elaborate on this whole "grok" thing P? Am I off base with my comment above - I'm just trying to get up to speed.

Well Ken, you're not off base. Grok is an AI chatbot developed by xAI. Other AI chatbots include ChatGPT, which sort of laid the groundwork. Jasper AI is another that seems to offer flexibility compared to Grok AI.

Additionally, there are other AI models such as Gemini, DeepSeek, Copilot, and ChatGPT that can search the web actively.

Thanks P. I guess I’ll read these articles more closely, but for “newbies” and in general tis often helpful to share the basis of terms used and not presume tis already known is what I think. Cause we all are busy. I know I am - lots going on no doubt for sure during thes “turning” times of elevated flux.

Warmly,

Ken

A very good read. It invites the thought that perhaps certain pattern detection skills are a part of the organ of perception that Gurdjieff refers to, an internal system of perception that allows us to experience thoughts, feelings and sensations, as well as presentiments, intuitions and dreams that once achieved, built or trained allows us to see the symbols of reality with greater resolution and scope. And this organ is a product of the development of the antenna that allows us to receive information from the higher realms. It may be that much of the schizophrenia is not only the lack of information about key concepts of such realms, but also that an avalanche of unfiltered information can short-circuit the sensory organ.

AI does seem useful for niche mostly unknown subjects though you can worry about the echo chamber part. I've long thought of morphing Ark's physics ideas with Tony Smith's and it mostly works rather well since one tends to be general where the other isn't flexible. The one problem area was matching a middle grade to a central algebra but for me since everything else worked so well, I tended to be satisfied with middle and central being synonyms but that's not overly mathy.

I've tried to think of getting a central algebra out of a middle grade but it never really worked so I recently asked ChatGPT about it and it skipped right over what I was trying to do and said the middle grade with its self dual symmetry works as a generalization of the commutitive central algebra and referred to the generalized idea as a classical sector rather than an algebra or grade. I'm sure ChatGPT could make up a source for me if I wanted one.

I found the answer I was seeking regarding the "grok" thing and being I see Parzival here I'm not uncomfortable to post this message.

So "grok" is some alternative "ai" entity I reckon and let me do a search on it: - oh my that does not inspire confidence.....here is the top link from the "brave ai" or the brave browser I should say:

https://x.ai/

So I assume - that is the "grok" you are putting to the test?

Oh crap - I asked the "grok" - what is grok - but then it wanted me to login - no go on that.

I believe pattern recognition can reveal many hidden things - be they dimensions or connections others just don't sense. I think hexagons are an avenue of study in this regard. I've gone on record with that.

I think most typically after they end their childhood most do just see what they expect or desire - and ain't that a shame - cause a forest walker senses child-like ambitions and has them as well I reckon - from the perspective of not losing perspective about what really matters in the mind of a child. The mind of a child tis best filled with wonder - cause then said child can maybe carry that ambition forward - even as an adult jaded.

A couple of thoughts.

The study from 2017 also brings to mind the Overton window and how the HCS benefits from limiting our conceptual mind space. Labelling someone as being schizophrenic or ridiculing someone's perceptions is a common tool to massage the general publics opinion into fitting the accepted world view.

UFO's is one such area, where some people see 'the craft' while others don't. Those who do see it are ridiculed or seen as being mentally unstable etc. The many stories of people having been told that it was just Venus they have seen or swamp gas or fireworks, comes to mind.

Anyway, your series of prodding GROK is great!
